What is Pixel in Pictures?Pixel in Pictures is a pixel-ad website based in the West Coast of Scotland and trying to introduce you to a different and cheaper way to advertising.
Pixel advertising has now became a tested and effective form of online advertising, Pixel in Pictures has been created to provide advertising space for Scottish advertisers both of a national and international presence looking to generate traffic to their websites.
Why should I buy pixels?Buying pixel-ads on our grid pages allow you to have an image or logo with a link to your website which could be seen by millions of people over the coming years. This has the potential of increasing targeted traffic to your website gaining you customers and sales.
Why would someone click on a pixel-ad on Pixel in Pictures?People are naturally curious about websites linked to interesting pixel-ads. For this reason, make your ad as large and as eye-catching as possible.
How does it work?When you click the Get Pixels button you will see 4 types of zones, 3 Premium pixels-ads and 1 Free Zone available.
Purchase as many pixels as you need for your ad, as long as there are pixels available. With a fully automated ordering and uploading system, buying pixels is simple and fast!
The live statistics in the top right corner of the page shows how many pixels are busy and how many are available, and after your pixel-ad goes live daily stats are shown on the website displaying how many clicks it gets.
When selecting your blocks just click any free block, if you are selecting more than one hold the mouse button and slowly move until another block highlights and release until you have selected the amount you want then click the button Link the fields
After selecting your blocks you will be prompted to upload an image or logo to use in that space. A url of your choice can be linked to your own website, however, no offensive or obscene material can be displayed or linked to, then fill in the other relevant information.
Once you have done that you will see a PayPal button click that and you will be forwarded to PayPal to pay, once you have paid you will receive conformation.
If you are using the Free Zone you have to activate the link that you will receive through the email you gave, copy and paste to your browser bar.
How long will my pixel-ad stay online?Depending on which Pixel-ads page you have advertised, on the Main page and the Highlight page your adverts will be there for 1 year . Free classified pixel-ads run on a 30 day basis.
Pixel-ads can be renewed at the end of their term.
What payment methods does Pixel in Pictures accept?Pixel in Pictures accepts all major debit and credit cards through our online payment provider, PayPal®. We will also be trying for other for payment
What are the requirements in setting up a pixel-ad?Images must be in GIF, JPEG or PNG format.
The size of your file must be no more than 250 kilobytes.
Animated files are not accepted - this keeps the grid pages more legible.
Links to your website must begin with http:// or https://
You must have the authority or permission to supply the image and link for the website you submit.
Payment for your pixel-ad must be fully received and cleared before it is published on its respective grid page.
After I order my ad how long will it be before I see it online?FOR PAID PIXEL-ADS
After your order is processed, during which you choose and upload your logo or image, you will be prompted to make the payment for your pixel-ad. After payment is recieved you should see your image within 1 hour. All images and links will be checked then subject it to assessment and moderation.
FOR FREE CLASSIFIED PIXEL-ADS
After creating your ad - you do this yourself - you will be sent an activation email. On clicking the link in this email your ad will automatically go live.
NB - All ads are subject to assessment and any found to contain ilegal or offensive content will be removed. No refunds are given for paid listings removed for this reason.
What are the different grid pages on Pixel in Pictures?Pixel In Pictures has different zones offering pixel-ad space:
1/ The Big Grid - with 3 PREMIUM pixel-ads and 1 Free with maximum exposure - with links to external websites.
2/ Summer Holiday - with 1 PREMIUM pixel-ads - with links to external websites.
3/ Footie Page - which is a FREE ZONE.
NB Through time this is lilable to change
Who should advertise on Pixel in Pictures?Pixel in Pictures is ideal for:
1/ Businesses or private individuals with a website, either based at home or overseas.
2/ Websites targeted towards the online Scottish community.
3/ Websites that would benefit from either international or regional based pixel-ads.
4/ Professional individuals looking to advertise their services.
Can I change my ad image or link?For paid pixel-ads - you cannot change your url after it has been published on the respective grid page, so be sure to submit the correct link.
The only exception to this rule would be if there is a significant reason to change the url - ie. Lawsuit, website no longer exists, major structural changes to your site etc.
You can change you image, in order to do so you would need to send the image to Pixel in Pictures and we would do that for you.
What type of ads are not allowed?All ad submissions are screened, and those deemed inappropriate (ie. are found to be pornographic or offensive) are not allowed. This also applies to the websites that the ad links to – they must not contain pornographic or offensive material.
If an image or link is rejected, you have the opportunity to provide an alternative, otherwise your money will be refunded and your order cancelled. You will lose your pixels.
Can I get a refund?After a pixel-ad has been paid for - accepted and published by Pixel in Pictures - there are no refunds.
If in the future, for whatever reason, you want your pixel-ad removed from its respective grid page, you can do that. However, you will not get a refund and the pixels will be made available to the public for repurchase.
Why is the currency in dollars $?The Internet is known for most countries using the $ (dollar) hence why not stick with it. Also it work out cheaper nearly half than using GBP.

How to LinkLinking our logo to our web site could not be easier.
When you click the refferal link you will see our logo
Highlight the text below it and press ctrl + c (to copy) then goto your website select where you want to put it and then and press ctrl + v (to paste)
You should be able to adjust the size once on your web page
